This site received its name from the large number of pyramid butterfly fish found at the top of the pinnacles. Pyramids, offers some of Lanai's best diving and has everything from lava arches, pinnacles, expanses of finger corals and plenty of reef fish. After mooring and a short swim you will reach a large, hollow pinnacle with numerous nooks and crannies to explore so make sure you bring your dive light. Located west of the pinnacle you will find lava arches that are covered in snowflake coral and are home to lobster crabs and large cowry shells. This site is home to large variety of marine life including, viper moray eels, blue-stripe snapper, pipefish, barracuda and the occasional white-tip reef shark. This dive site is fast becoming the most popular location to dive on Lanai. Sea life: Pyramid Butterfly Fish, Pipefish, Moray Eels, Lobster and Snapper.
