The World War II F-6-F Hellcat airplane is a nice upside down wreck just off Kihei.

Name divesite: F-6-F Hellcat
Depth: 20-30ft (6-9m)
Visibility: 30-120ft (9-36m)
Accessibility: Shore, Boat
Time to visit: All year long, best at its leeward side

This World War II F-6-F Hellcat lies directly off Kihei. The wreck is upside down with its engine about 20-yards from the fuselage. When weather conditions allow dive operators sometimes add this as a third dive site.
